Online Poker

Recently, I have been studying the game of poker. Three things about poker interest me.

1.) Odds. The number game is fun. I like simple math. Haha.

2.) Logic. Poker requires you to cling to your logical sense and stay away from emotions. I am a very logical individual by most standards, so I fit the game well.

3.) The potential of winning money. I think this is one of everyone's top reasons for playing poker. (Everyone who plays for money, anyway)


Mind you, poker is not a game you should play with the sole intent of winning money. When you play you should play merely for fun. Only few are true "winners" at poker. I have also learned there is no such thing as a "natural" poker player. Even if you think you are good at reading people, that confidence will ultimately keep you from improving your poker game, and can cost you a fortune if it is over-confidence.


So if you'd like to try and earn a little money on the side through poker, goodluck. Just take my advice and study up on the game as much as you can before making any deposits. Also, remember that if you are in the U.S., the federal government has tried to restrict the ability of citizens to gamble online, so be aware of the barriers the government is trying to put in place against it.

Well, it has been a while but I'm back with more information on how to make money on the internet!

The topic of the day is SWATcash. This website is very much like TreasureTrooper, but makes the "game" behind the website more obvious. It is quick and easy to sign up. All you do is enter your e-mail address and either your mailing address to receive a personal check or your PayPal address if you prefer to be payed that way. After that, all you have to do is click a confirmation link and you're ready to start making money!

When you first login, just click the Offers link and choose any offer that interests you. The offers are worth bullets (for the game), and also show the dollar value of the offer. You can either use the bullets you get from completing offers by attacking other members of the website, or you can cash in your bullets for money. In my opinion, this website is a little bit more interesting than TreasureTrooper, but maybe that's just because I like the theme more.

Using myLot ...will earn you a Lot?

Not quite, but this network is great to get involved in. You make an account, add some pictures, and join in on discussions with people from all over the world. The best part is, you get paid for it! you can create discussions, respond to them, or comment on responses. You can have a discussion about anything you're interested in and get PAID for it! Unfortunately, they don't pay much. If you really work at it you can make a good amount, but it wouldn't be very lucrative with how much time you'd have to spend on the site.

In conclusion, I recommend this site for anyone looking to meet potential partners, affiliates, etc. Or anyone just bored looking for discussions to participate in.

Treasure Trooper

On the Profit Geek forum there is a user with a link in his signature about Treasure Trooper, a website that offers many free surveys that will pay you for filling them out. I figured why not give it a try? So I went to the site, filled out some account information and logged in. When I logged in I went straight to the "Cash Surveys" link. I took the daily survey where you get $.75 cents for taking one every 24 hours. The bad thing is, you have to qualify to take the surveys. After filling out my Age, Location, Income, etc. about five times, I finally got to take a real survey that got me my 75 cents. Hooray! After I earned my first 3/4 of a dollar, I signed up for some of the listed free survey companies, which are pretty convenient because they e-mail you invitations to take surveys. Only problem is, for every survey you want to earn money for, you must take the survey then sign up for an offer the company features. This means signing up for a subscription or paying for a shipping & handling fee. Well I don't know about everyone else, but I know I'm lazy. Plus I was looking for a free way to make money.

So in short,

You can earn money with TreasureTrooper!

but only if you are willing to pay a little bit first and spend some time finding surveys you qualify for.

Then I Became... a Profit Geek

As soon as I got to my computer, I immediately searched for webmaster forums that could give me ideas on how to setup a website. I looked through many forums and didn't find anything beyond the norm until I found the Profit Geeks. I recommend them to anyone who is interested at all in some type of webmastering or making money on the internet. They have a great community put together and their goal is to help you.
